Introduction to Scouting
Scouting was founded in 1907 by Lord Robert Baden-Powell, and has since grown into a worldwide movement with over 54 million Scouts making up 172 organisations. In 1908 Scouting made its way to Australia. Scouts is broken down into 6 different age sections:
Joeys: 5-8
Cubs: 8-10
Scouts: 10-15
Venturers: 15-18
Rovers: 18-25
Adult leaders and helpers: 18+
Founded in 1967 Hatfield has a rich history of almost 60 years!
Hatfield Rovers has seen hundreds of young adults through their scouting journey's.
